METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF GASTRIC CANCER OF DIFFERENT HISTOLOGICAL TYPES Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2613139 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to molecular oncology and may be used for differential diagnosis of gastric cancer of different histological types. The method comprises obtaining of DNA from the biopsy; amplification of GSTP1, NFKB1 HV2 loci fragments using polymerase chain reaction in real time (RT-PCR) by means of a set of highly specific primers; quantitative interpretation of amplification results. Implementation of the method is possible with operating material and tissue biopsies obtained during gastroscopy; the results shall be recorded once at the end of the study, the method takes less than 10 hours.

EFFECT: method allows efficient and timely identification of G3 adenocarcinoma and castration-cell stomach cancer, which enables more accurate preoperative prediction and promotes adoption of correct tactics of treatment and improvement of its results.
