FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to miscarriage risk prediction for women in the first trimester of pregnancy in case of A (H3N2) influenza. The essence of the method: in the first trimester of gestation at the peak of A (H3N2) influenza, the value of the antiviral antibodies titer is determined in the first serum (A), seromucoid level (u op. pl.) is evaluated in blood plasma (B), middle peptides concentration (u op. pl.) is determined in blood plasma (C), circulating immune complexes content of (u op. pl.) is determined in blood serum (E). Then, the value of the discriminant function D is calculated by means of discriminant equation: D=-0.021×A+8.049×B-106.797×C-46.494×E, where the limit value is - 35.77, at D greater than or equal to the limit value of the discriminant function, absence of the miscarriage risk is predicted, and at D less than the limit value, development of the miscarriage risk is predicted in case of A (H3N2) influenza in the first trimester of pregnancy. The probability of correct prediction is 85.5%.
EFFECT: higher prediction accuracy.
