FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Method of copper semi-finished product producing includes melting of copper, casting in several block molds 12 in one copper anode 14 outlet, production of copper cathodes 16 by electrolysis using copper anodes 14. Block molds are applied with mold paint by means of device 40. Plant includes refining furnace 28, rotary table 54 with block molds 12, electrolytic bath 30, in which anodes, cast in block molds, are displaced by protractor 31. Cathodes 16 from bath 30 are supplied by conveyer 34 to device 32 for further processing into copper semi-finished product. Part of cast in block molds billets is processed directly into copper semi-finished product.
EFFECT: enabling higher efficiency during copper melting.
