FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: infrared (IR) complex acting phosphor based on yttrium oxysulfide, activated by Er3+ ions and co-activated by Ce3+ ions, has a composition corresponding to the following empirical formula:
EFFECT: invention allows to increase the photostimulated quenching of Stokes IR ions luminescence without significant changes to the initial radiation source spectral composition, under the combined action of exciting IR radiation in ranges of 0,79-0,82 micrometers or 1,50-1,55 micrometers, and stimulating radiation in the range of 0,30-0,75 micrometers.
