FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises single-phased alternating-current inductors, including magnetic circuit, inducing wire, busbars, axis, device housing; power supply, wherein the single-phased inductors are arranged across the width of the saw blade in areas of creating thermal wake, are able to rotate about an axis fixed in the housing. The device is built directly into the saw machine unit and allows to ensure a uniform local heating of the saw blade sections in the area of the serrated and the rear edges of the saw across the straightforward strip thermal wake of the given width. Using of the single-phased inductors allows to regulate the width of the thermal wake on a saw plane, the temperature and the heating time for each inductor individually. If it is necessary to increase the number of thermal wakes, mounting of additional single-phased inductors in the saw blade is possible.
EFFECT: increased resistance of the strip saws during sawing process.
