FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: human saliva is sampled. Using the method of IR Fourier spectroscopy IR spectra of absorption bands of material dried at 20°C are recorded. If absorption band cleavage with the maximum of 1550 cm-1, corresponding to amide group II vibrations is not detected, type II diabetes is diagnosed.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of type II diabetes diagnosis by disease markers detection in human saliva.
