FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: triple-rotor ICE mechanism with a separate combustion tact has housing. The housing comprises three cylinders, there is a heat engine cylinder in the centre, and compressor-burners cylinders on opposite sides of it. There are rotors installed in the cylinders with two, three or four radial grooves, and there are plates mounted in the grooves. There are combustion chambers installed in front of the grooves on the rotors of the compressor-burners in the direction of their rotation. Cylinders of the compressor-burners are connected to the engine working cavities passages. The passages begin after completion of the combustion phase in the webs between the cylinders and constitute recesses on cylindrical surfaces of compressor-burners with extent in the beginning equal to the thickness of the webs. The passages extend along the cylindrical surfaces of the compressor-burners in the direction of rotor rotation with the same or decreasing extent, with the same or decreasing cross-sectional area. The passages end before reaching the geometric foundation of the increasing space - compression of the compressor-burners.
EFFECT: increase in specific power and torque.
