SUBSTANCE: method for the differential diagnosis of acute rhinosinusitis includes the study of the patient's blood serum before treatment and determination of cytokine levels of interleukin - 6(IL-6) and γinterferon (γINF) pg/ml, after which the coefficient K calculated diagnosis by the formula: K=IL-6/γINF, and the value of K≤1.4 viral rhinosinusitis is diagnosed, when the condition 1.4<K<2.5 post-virus rhinosinusitis is diagnosed, a value K≥2.5 diagnose bacterial rhinosinusitis.
EFFECT: method enables high-reliability differential diagnosis of acute rhinosinusitis through the use of objective assessment criteria, allowing a clear, fast and uniquely differentiate viral, and bacterial rhinosinusitis postvirusny.
