FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a control system of an internal combustion engine (ICE), the control system controls ICE in accordance with output signal of an air-fuel ratio sensor. The result ensures that ICE control system has the air-fuel ratio sensor installed in an outlet channel of ICE; and engine control device to control ICE in accordance with the output signal of the air-fuel ratio sensor. The air-fuel ratio sensor has a measuring gas chamber, exhaust gas enters the chamber, a reference cell, in the cell output current of the reference cell changes according to the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas inside the metering gas chamber, and a pump cell that according to pump current pumps in the oxygen or pumps it out the exhaust gas present in the measuring gas chamber. The reference cell is made such that supplied sensor voltage, when output current of the reference cell is equal to zero, varies in accordance with the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas in the measuring gas chamber. The voltage supplied to said reference cell is measured at DC voltage, an this DC voltage is set to voltage that differs from voltage when output current of the reference cell is zero, when the air-fuel ration of the exhaust gas in said measuring gas chamber is a stoichiometric asir-fuel ratio.
EFFECT: invention ensures creation of the control system of the internal combustion system, in the system the air-fuel ratio sensor is used, the sensor can determine an absolute value of the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas, even in cases when the air-fuel ratio is not stoichiometric.
