SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Cleaning composition is disclosed, which contains: (a) version of parent alpha-amylase with improved detergent efficiency at temperature 15–20 °C in comparison with parent alpha-amylase, wherein version includes change in two or more positions, corresponding to positions of G304, W140, W189, D134, E260, W284, W439, G476 and G477 mature polypeptide SEQ ID NO: 1, wherein every change independently represents replacement, deletion or insertion, wherein one of changes is replacement in position corresponding to position E260 of mature polypeptide SEQ ID NO: 1, and substitute is selected from group consisting of G, K, R and T; and (b) cleaning additive. Method of surface treatment of preferably textile is disclosed using aqueous detergent solution containing said composition.

EFFECT: group of inventions increases efficiency of removing stains sensitive to amylase in cold water.
