SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an electrophotographic image forming device (imaging device) and a cartridge which is detachably mounted into main assembly of image forming device. Disclosed group of inventions includes an electrophotographic image forming device for forming an image on recording material and a process cartridge, which is detachably mounted in main assembly of electrophotographic image forming device. Said process cartridge comprises: a photosensitive member; a housing of photosensitive member, supporting said photosensitive member with possibility of rotation; developing roller for developing a latent image formed on said photosensitive member; housing of developing device, supporting said developing roller with possibility of rotation and connected with said housing of photosensitive member, to rotate between a contact, wherein said developing roller is in contact with said photosensitive member, and a separation position, where said developing roller is separated from said photosensitive member; first driving transfer member, rotating around an axis of rotation, around which said housing of developing device rotates relative to said housing of photosensitive member, and enables to receive a rotary force from main assembly; second driving transfer member, rotating around an axis of rotation and enabling coupling with said first driving transfer member and transmitting a rotary force to said developing roller; and a coupling release member for decoupling between said first driving transfer member and said second driving transfer member in accordance with rotation of housing of developing device from contact position to said separation position.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improved coupling for switching drive for developing roller.
