FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises providing a multitesting platform, comprising at least 90 chambers, and providing at least 90 microbial samples. The said multitesting platform comprises one or more solid microbial growth mediums containing a dispersed population of said fungal or bacterial plant pathogen, forming a cell layer on the surface of a solid microbial growth medium and mixed with said solid microbial growth medium and incorporated into said solid microbial growth medium prior to the medium solidification. Each of the said plurality of samples is separately put in microbial simultaneous physical contact with the said dispersed population of bacterial or fungal plant pathogen. Co-cultivation is carried out of the said microbial sample with said dispersed population of bacterial or fungal plant pathogen to estimate the response of the said fungal or bacterial pathogen to each of the said microbial samples by detecting the presence of growth inhibition zone, indicating to an antagonistic activity against fungal or bacterial pathogen. One or more selected microbial samples is selected containing the said microorganism having antagonistic activity against the said fungal or bacterial pathogen.

EFFECT: invention allows rapid identification of microorganisms having antagonistic activity against fungal or bacterial plant pathogen.
