FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: bacterial cell capable of forming at least one rhamnolipid and genetically modified in such manner that, compared with its wild type, it has an increased activity of two enzymes E1 and E2 or three enzymes E1, E2 and E3 and at least one enzyme E8 which catalyzes export of rhamnolipides from the cell into the environment is presented; at this enzyme E1 is capable of catalyzing the conversion of 3-hydroxyalkanoil-ACP via 3-hydrocyalkanoil-3-hydroxy alkane acid ACP into hydrocyalkanoil-3-hydroxy alkane acid, enzyme E2 represents rhamnosiltrasferaza I, and enzyme E3 - rhamnosiltransferaze II. A method for preparing rhamnolipides using said cell is presented.
EFFECT: increase of rhamnolipides formation.
