SUBSTANCE: cervical canal epithelium scraping is taken from a pregnant woman and PCR is used to determine the ratio of expression levels of TLR4/CD68 and TNF/GATA3 genes mRNA. Next, the value of canonical linear discriminant function is calculated by the formula: (CLDF):z=-In(TLR4/CD68)*1.152+In(TNF/GATA3)*1.608-1.526, (1) where Z is CLDF; TLR4/CD68 is the ratio of expression levels of TLR4 and CD68 genes mRNA; TNF/GATA3 is the ratio of expression levels of TNF and GATA3 genes mRNA; the probability of premature birth is calculated by the formula: P=1/(1+e-z) (2), where p is the probability of premature birth; Z is CLDF (1). At the probability greater than or equal to 67%, premature birth is predicted in the next 7 days.
EFFECT: use of the method allows to accurately predict premature birth in the next 7 days.
