FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes an elongated tube with a distal portion. A treating element located on the said distal portion of the elongated tube. The treating element is designed and configured to supply energy along the circumference to the small intestine wall for ablation of the controlled depth of the mucosal tissue. Means comprising more than one needle to deliver fluid to the submucosal tissue to expand a portion of the said submucosal tissue throughout the circumference (360°), to increase the target treatment volume. A device providing access to a body that is designed to advance with the said elongated tube and means for fluid delivery.
EFFECT: system provides ablation of the controlled depth of pathological tissue without the risk of damage to surrounding tissues, excludes the negative impact on non-target tissue.
