SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of identifying a plant comprising at least one determinant of the soybean plant variety resistance to soybean cyst nematode (SCN), as well as to the method for obtaining a SCN-resistant soybean plant of a variety of interest, comprising the stages of hybridization of the soybean plant having a sign of resistance to the SCN with the plant soybean of a non-SCN-resistant variety of interest, the use of marker-auxiliary selection, and breeding soybean plants F₁ to obtain the SCN-resistant soybean plant. The method of imparting resistance to SCN to the soybean plant, the method for transferring at least one determinant of resistance to SCN into a soybean variety, as well as the method of introducing at least one soybean variety determinant of resistance to SCN into the host plant by means of genetic transformation, wherein each method comprises studying the plant genomic DNA for the detection of a marker linked with a SCN-resistant soybean variety phenotype, is disclosed as well.

EFFECT: invention allows to effectively identify the plant comprising at least one determinant of a soybean plant variety resistance to SCN.
