FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the electrolysis cathode, containing nickel coating with thickness 300-1000 nm, applied by the method of magnetron spraying on the matrix of porous aluminium oxide with pores sizes of 40-120 nm and the distance between the pores walls 10-20 nm.
EFFECT: increase of the contact area of the cathode material with the electrolyte and increase of the catalytic coating adhesion to the substrate, otherwise to the cathode base.
