SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in various branches of engineering in the manufacture or restoration of parts to impart a surface to enhanced corrosion resistance properties. The method for producing a coating on a steel plate comprises introducing a mixture of the powder material into a high velocity stream preheated to the air temperature of 300-500°C, which is directed to the steel plate by means of a supersonic nozzle, a powder mixture containing, wt %: aluminium 35±5%, zinc 40±5%, aluminium oxide 25±5%, a powder coating is applied to the steel plate, after which the coated plate is heat treated in an oven at the temperature of 480-500°C and the cure time of 10-15 min.
EFFECT: using the proposed method allows to maximize the resistance to the destruction of low-carbon steel under the influence of an aggressive environment.
