FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coatings. In can be used in various machine building branches in production or reconditioning of parts. Compressed air is preheated to 300-500°C, fed in supersonic nozzle to develop high-velocity airflow therein. Powders of aluminium and copper oxides with grain size of 50 and 20 mcm, respectively, are added to said flow in equal portions to apply coating of 2 mm deep ply on steel substrate. Then, coating is subjected to machining for removal of 4-50% of applied ply depth.
EFFECT: better adhesion to substrate, higher quality of coating and reliability of article.
