FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves recording at least two background screen images in the presence of optical heterogeneity in the frame. The structure of the screen contains many fine details with high optical contrast. The processing of the obtained images is done by subtracting two images of optical heterogeneity modulo, in which there is a displacement of the boundaries of the detected inhomogeneity by an amount exceeding the resolution value of the optical recorder.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and increasing the performance.
