FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: computer tomography study of the stomach is performed with intravenous bolus injection of the contrast agent into the arterial and portal contrast phases. Then the patient takes per os a gas-forming mixture in the following composition: Acidum Citricum - 1±0.5 g, dissolved in 5±1 ml of water, and Natrii Bicarbonati - 2±0.5 g, rinsed with a small amount of water in a volume of not more than 30 ml. 5 minutes after the arterial contrasting phase, an early delayed contrasting phase is performed, while the patient holds the formed gas until the end of scanning.

EFFECT: method provides the accuracy of diagnosis due to visualisation of small formations, more accurate determination of the tumor lesion extent on the stomach wall, assessment of the depth of intra-wall tumor growth, non-invasiveness and good method tolerability.
