DEVICE FOR "SULFACRYLATE" ADHESIVE DELIVERY TO STAPLE SUTURE LINE AND METHOD FOR ITS APPLICATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B17/00 A61L24/00 A61B17/24 A61B17/72

Abstract RU 2622368 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises a laparoscopic instrument represented by a tube with handles and working jaws. A hollow catheter with a pavilion for connection of a syringe mandrel with "Sulfacrylate" adhesive is located in the laparoscopic instrument working channel. The inner end is located between the tool working jaws and ends with an opening. The device delivers the "Sulfacrylate" adhesive to the staple suture line. During laparoscopic operations, a device for "Sulfacrylate" adhesive application is introduced through any trocar. Tool jaws fix the suture line. A syringe with "Sulfacrylate" adhesive is attached to the pavilion. The ashesive is delivered to the suture line via the catheter installed in the channel lumen. The adhesive is injected through the catheter, advancing it along the staple line fixed by jaws.

EFFECT: device application increases the reliability of operation with hollow organs intersection and cross-linking, reduces the risk of staple suture line insolvency and bleeding, reduces adhesive consumption.
