FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: preliminary injection control method involves injection of the first amount of fuel to engine cylinder at the first specified time point during the second half of compression stroke before engine cylinder piston reaches upper dead point of compression stroke; at that, injection of the first amount of fuel includes injection of preliminary amount of fuel of 1 to 5 percent of total fuel amount; and injection of the second amount of fuel to engine cylinder at the second specified time point after the first specified time point when piston advances by the specified advance value before it reaches upper dead point of compression stroke. Injection of the second fuel amount includes injection of the main amount of 95 to 99 percent of total amount. In the formula there presented is the second version of preliminary injection control method, preliminary injection control system, locomotive engine containing turbosupercharger, preliminary injection control method and machine-readable medium.
EFFECT: reducing specific fuel consumption without increasing emissions of certain waste gases in diesel engine.
