FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to motor vehicles, in particular to temperature protection during individual cylinder knock control. Method is proposed for improving the temperature protection of components during individual cylinder knock control, in which the cylinder spark adjustments may be performed individually based on respective cylinder adaptive knock estimates. Fuel supply of the engine from the row of cylinders to the row can then be performed to independently control the temperature of the exhaust gases of each engine series.
EFFECT: technical result is improved exhaust gas temperature control.
