FIELD: heating system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to periclase-spinel refractories used in the lining of high-temperature thermal aggregates, for example in rotary kilns for cement clinker burning, in lime kilns for lime roasting, and other. Periclase-spinel refractory, including magnesia-pedalferic spinel, periclase and silicates, contains: periclase - not less than 60% by weight, silicates - not more than 3.5% by weight and magnesia-pedalferic spinel containing oxides of MgO, FeO (in terms of Fe2O3), Al2O3, Fe2O3 and TiO2, the amount of which in the refractory is determined by the ratio , which is in range of 2-19, with the spinel having the ratio not exceeding 40, in the basis of the refractory it is represented by oxides of MgO, FeO, Al2O3, Fe2O3, and in the matrix part of the refractory by oxides of MgO, Fe2O3, Al2O3 and TiO2. Magnesia-pedalferic spinel in the base of the refractory may further contain: ZrO2, TiO2 and have a ratio of in the range of 0.5-6.0.
EFFECT: production of refractory with reduced gas permeability and high resistance to corrosive and thermal stresses.
