SUBSTANCE: polymer composite friction element of the friction product contains dispersed particles of ferrosilicon with particle sizes of 0.01 mm to 0.8 mm in the amount of 5 wt % to 15 wt %.
EFFECT: formation of more abrasive silica particles and abrasive particles of silicon carbide in the surface layer of the friction element during the tribocontact, which improves the frictional characteristics of the product during operation.
