SUBSTANCE: butter maker comprises a horizontally disposed cylindrical container immovably fixed to the supports, and a whipping mechanism in the form of a rotor comprising three to five blades representing waves in the transverse section and arranged with respect to each other at the same angle and displaced down relative to the center of the cylindrical container. The ratio of the rotor diameter d_p to the cylindrical container diameter d_e is equal to 0.4.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the power for whipping and to increase the butter maker performance.
