FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: operating unit of a machine for cutting bushes and scrubs contains a housing and a cutting unit with a drive. The device housing is made U-shaped. On top of the housing, a cutting unit is mounted on bearings, made in the form of toothed saw discs. The toothed saw discs are mounted on a shaft and fixed by means of inserts and the threaded connection. The inserts are represented by hollow cylinders, the bases of which are made at an angle of 15° to their rotation axis. The shaft is connected to the power unit. An arc-profiled comb with teeth cut along the lateral edges on both sides is fixed in the bottom part of the housing.
EFFECT: design of the working unit of the machine for cutting bushes and scrubs reduces its metal consumption.
