FIELD: forestry industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the forestry industry and can be used for cutting shrubs and overgrowth under power lines, in reservoir beds, during logging of forest care. The working body of the machine for cutting shrubs and overgrowth contains a body, a cutting body made of sections, each of which contains sidewalls, between which flat knives are located. The sections are bolted together, and half couplings are fixed on the extreme sections, through which the shafts of the cutting body are connected to the power unit through bearing assemblies. The sidewalls of the sections are made in the form of square plates rigidly fixed on a hollow cylinder, between which along their diagonals and on triangular plates with holes are installed in the cylinder. In this case, the flat knives are triangular in shape with triangular teeth and are mounted on triangular plates by means of bolted connections.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the manufacture and reduces the metal consumption of the structure.
