FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: agglomerate, containing the material with iron oxide, the carbon reducing agent, the melting point controller, the material accelerating the melting temperature controller and the binder, are introduced into the under reheating furnace with the moving bottom. The agglomerate is heated to reduce the iron oxide in the agglomerate and the resulting product is melted by additional heating to coalescence iron component. In this case, the agglomerate containing the melting temperature controller is used, which has the average particle size 0.3 mm or less, and in which the content of particles with the diameter 0.5 mm or less is 55% by weight or more. The melting temperature controller is, in particular, dolomite or limestone, and fluorite is the material that accelerates the action of the melting temperature controller.

EFFECT: invention allows to improve the yield of reduced iron agglomerate, having the large particle diameter and to reduce its production time.
