METHOD FOR EVALUATION OF HIGH DEGREE MYOPIA HARDWARE TREATMENT EFFICIENCY Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61B3/18 A61B6/03

Abstract RU 2625597 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: using optical coherence tomography (OCT)-angiography macular area microcirculation is determined. The parameters are recorded twice before and after functional treatment. At the same time, saturation (S), avascular regions (AR), microcapillary pattern density (MPD) and blood flow index (BFI) are recorded at four levels: Superficial, Deep, Outer Retina and Choroid Capillary. If S increases by 17-28% in the surface layers, by 21-52% in the deep layers, by 2-10% in the outer retina and by 1-4% in the choroid; AR increases by 28-35% in the surface layers, by 37-55% in the deep layers and decreases by 12-23% in the outer retina and by 10-15% in the choroid; MPD increases by 15-25% in the surface layers, by 20-55% in the deep layers, by 4-10% in the outer retina and by 1-4% in the choroid; BFI increases by 20-25% in the surface layers, by 25-57% in the deep layers, by 6-12% in the outer retina and by 3-9% in the choroid after treatment, the efficiency of high-degree myopia treatment is evaluated as high.

EFFECT: improved assessment accuracy and reduced time of study.
