FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in differential diagnostics of myopia and glaucoma associated with myopia. That is ensured by visually assessing changes in the peripapillary retina and vessels of Haller-Zinn arterial peripapillary circle. In the presence of the beta-zone, reduced density of choriocapillaries with exposure of large vessels of the arterial circle of Haller-Zinn and formation of non-perfusion zones in peripapillary atrophy, glaucoma is diagnosed on the myopic eye.
EFFECT: method provides detecting differential diagnostic criteria of myopia and glaucoma associated with myopia, high accuracy of diagnosing glaucoma accompanying a pathology.
