FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: DNA is isolated from the peripheral venous blood lymphocytes of the examinee, followed by determination of the A1166C polymorphism genotype of AGTR1 gene (rs 5186). Prediction of an increased risk of subarachnoid bleeding due to cerebral aneurism rupture in persons of the Asian race is accomplished by genomic typing of A1166C polymorphism of AGTRl gene (rs 5186). In the presence of the C allele and AC genotype of A1166S polymorphism of the AGTR1 gene (rs 5186), increased risk of aSAC is predicted.

EFFECT: use of the method improves the accuracy of prediction of the risk of cerebral vessels aneurism development and rupture, leading to subarachnoid bleeding in persons of the Asian race.
