SUBSTANCE: method includes selection of biological material from patient, separation of genomic DNA from it, genotyping by determining the polymorphic locus of the gene through a polymerase chain reaction followed by identification of alleles and evaluation of functional result based on identified genotypes containing identified alleles.
EFFECT: method makes possible to increase the objectivity and accuracy of predicting the functional result in patients with schizophrenia by providing an objective quantitative assessment of unfavorable result risk in patients of both sexes with schizophrenia based on information about several polymorphic gene loci.
