REPEATEDLY COMPRESSED STENT DELIVERY SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61F2/966 A61F2/95 A61F2/91 A61F2/915

Abstract RU 2628050 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: self-expanding stent delivery system comprises an inner member disposed coaxially with the outer member, the inner member and the outer member including a distal and proximal end; a pusher located at the proximal end of the inner member; and a slider arranged coaxially with the inner member and located inside and in contact with the internal diameter of the stent. The slider includes concave engaging elements at its distal end. The stent includes convex engaging elements at its proximal end. The concave engaging elements mate and adhere to the convex engaging elements. Prior to its placement, the stent is compressed in the inner diameter of the outer member. During stent placement. the slider can rotate around and move longitudinally along the inner member, allowing the stent to move distally or rotate in the outer member, as the outer member is retracted to accommodate the stent, and the second outer member and the body move together or remain stationary together. According to the second version, the self-expanding stent delivery system further comprises a gripper disposed coaxially and outside the said outer member. After partial placement, the stent can be re-compressed by keeping the pusher fixed and grasping the grip to move the outer casing in the distal direction. According to the third version, the self-expanding stent delivery system further comprises a slider, with the distal end containing concave engaging elements that mate and fix with the corresponding convex elements at the proximal end of the stent; and a distal limiter attached to the inner member distal to the slider. Moreover, before the outer member is fully retracted, thereby freeing the stent, the stent can again be retained by moving the inner member and the attached distal limiter proximally relative to the stent and the slider until the distal limiter comes into contact with the slider. The outer member can move distally relative to the stent, the slider, the inner member and the fixed distal limiter, thereby re-grasping the stent within the outer member.

EFFECT: invention does not allow the tubular portions of the stent delivery system to be bent when the stent is re-compressed.
