FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: supporting framework is established during rigid bronchoscopy. The framework is formed from metal or plastic elements in the form of semirings having a trapezoidal cross-section, with one needle-shaped. Semirings are inserted at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the trachea and/or the main bronchi into the submucous space between the cartilaginous rings along the semicircle of the trachea and/or the main bronchi; the semicircles have a smaller base of the inward trapezoidal section. Semirings are introduced starting from the distal boundary of the expiratory tracheal stenosis, but not further than the level of the upper lobe bronchi.
EFFECT: method avoids regular replacement of the framework, complications in the form of bleeding and pressure sores.
