FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: in the patient's blood sample, aluminium content is determined, and in those blood samples of patients where the aluminium content is higher than the reference value, immunocompetent cells are extracted. The membrane marker of CD11a/CD18 lymphocytes and the amount of intracellular apoptosis marker - bcl2 protein - are determined. Then the integral coefficient KCr is calculated, equal to the ratio of CD11a/CD18 content to bcl2 protein content: KCr=(CD11a/CD18)/bcl2. If this integral coefficient is more than 70 and the aluminium content in the patient's blood is higher than its reference value, the state of the patient's immune status from the effect of aluminium is assessed as corresponding to a pathological increase in immunological reactivity.

EFFECT: use of this method allows to reliably establish the influence of aluminium on the occurrence of immunodeficiency by using the aggregate level of contamination with aluminium as an informative criterion and the ratio of the cellular receptor and protein characterising the aluminium-induced cell death process as a marker of the immunotoxic action effect.
