FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: device contains a radiation detector and a slot collimator made in the form of two blocks of a material with a high atomic number and a high density with adjustable distance between their surfaces bounding the slit. The slot collimator is fixed to the base on which the guide plates of the displacement are fixed. The moving platform is equipped with a DC magnet in the form of a magnetic circuit with winding and pole pieces. The guides of the displacement platforms are located perpendicular to the surfaces of the blocks bounding the collimator slit, and the pole pieces are parallel to the guides and perpendicular to the entrance surfaces of the slit collimator blocks. On the pole pieces, a bremsstrahlung converter is placed perpendicularly to them in positron radiation, made of a wire of a material with a high atomic number. The positron detector is fixed between the pole pieces.

EFFECT: possibility of determining the size of the focal spot of the high-energy part of the brake accelerator radiation.
