FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: siliconehydrogel is proposed, prepared from a reaction mixture containing 30-75 wt % of a slowly reacting hydrophilic monomer selected from N-vinylamide, vinylpyrolidone and N-vinylpiperidone; A silicone-containing component selected from mono (meth) acryloxyalkylpoly (dialkyl) siloxane and styrylpoly (diallyl) siloxane; A photoinitiator of visible light and a hydroxyl-containing component, the ratio of the half-life of the slowly reacting hydrophilic component to the half-life of the silicone-containing component is at least 2. A method for producing the claimed silicone hydrogel is also provided.
EFFECT: proposed siliconehydrogel is made from inexpensive, commercially available monomers and demonstrates excellent wettability without modifying the surface, low elasticity, good transparency and oxygen permeability.
