SUBSTANCE: video data decoding method comprises the steps of: storing a plurality of decoding units associated with the access unit from the video data in the image buffer. Each decoding unit from the said set is a subset of the access unit; obtaining an appropriate deletion time from the buffer for each stored decoding unit from the plurality of the stored decoding units; deleting the said plurality of the stored decoding units from the image buffer in accordance with the received removal times from the buffer; and encoding the video data corresponding to the said plurality of the remote decoding units. The video data encoding comprises the step of decoding the plurality of remote decoding units.
EFFECT: ensuring a reduction in the delay, when decoding video data.
