FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: preparation for external and local application is applied pointwise or by watering. Pets are cats or dogs. The composition contains an effective amount of 4-[5-(3,5-dichlorophenyl)-5-trifluoromethyl-4,5-dihydroisoxazol-3-yl]-2-methyl-N-[(2,2,2-trifluoroethylcarbamoyl)methyl]benzamide of compound (A) in a veterinarily acceptable liquid carrier. The liquid carrier contains N,N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide in a mixture of at least two of the following solvents: acetone, ethyl-L-lactate, dimethylsulfoxide, dimethylacetamide and glycofurol, as well as an effective amount of macrocyclic lactone compound and/or insect growth-regulating compound.
EFFECT: good drug penetration in topical application and preservation of an acceptable cosmetic look of the animal.
