SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production process of N-aryl-O-alkylcarbamates of general formula I , where R is the aryl groups and R1 means the alkyl groups of the normal or branched structure with the carbon number from 1 to 4. The method is that, it is provided the reaction between the alcohol R1OH and symmetrical disubstituted urea II , where R means aryl groups, and R1 means alkyl groups of the normal or branched structure with the carbon atoms number from 1 to 4, in the continuous mode at the atmospheric pressure in the carbamate I medium at the reagent ratio of urea: aliphatic alcohol = 1:(10÷60) mol and temperature from 140 to 250°C.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the yield of N-aryl-O-alkylcarbamates of formula I and eliminate the use of solvents.
