FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: intervertebral connective implant for connection of two vertebrae consists of an upper bearing support for placement on the lower vertebral terminal plate, a lower bearing support for placement on the upper terminal plate of the opposite vertebra and a central part located between the bearing supports. The central part is designed as a sliding toothed clutch, which in a closed position connects two bearing supports to each other in a rotationally fixed manner. The bearing supports are free to move relative to each other in the open position of the sliding toothed clutch. The sliding toothed clutch is automatically actuated and has, as the actuating element, a plastic locking body that keeps the sliding toothed clutch open in its initial position and is slowly deformed under load transmitted from one vertebra to another, until it reaches its final engagement position, at which the sliding toothed clutch is closed. A system consisting of the above intervertebral connective implant and the opening jaw forceps having the first and the second gripping elements. The gripping elements are designed to position the offset projections on the upper and lower bearing supports, so that the protrusions of the upper bearing support are located adjacent to the protrusions of the lower bearing support.
EFFECT: reduced phase of adaptation and rehabilitation of the patient.
