FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing furadonin consists in the production of I-aminohydantoin by the reaction of 2-semicarbazide acetic acid with a sulfuric acid solution, hydrolysis of 5-nitrofurfural diacetate in a sulfuric acid solution and in the production of furadonin by condensation of a solution of 5-nitrofurfurol and I-aminohydantoin at a temperature of not more than 80°C.
EFFECT: method improvement.
