FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the heterocyclic compounds synthesis - derivatives of (E)-4-(indol-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one, which are of interest as the initial compounds for the pharmaceutical substances synthesis. The production method of (E)-4-(indol-2-yl)prop-2-en-1-one I derivatives involves in reaction of the available 2-(N-tosylamino) benzyl alcohols with 2-substituted furans with the reaction mixture further treatment with acetate palladium, para-benzoquinone and molecular iodine in the glacial acetic acid under heating.
