SUBSTANCE: device contains the first part which must be administered to the subject and the second part which must be outside the subject when the first part is administered to the subject. The device comprises a unit for providing an image data set of the subject's inner area, wherein the provided image data set corresponds to the subject's inner area before performing the intervention procedure, a unit for providing tool position configured to determine the position of the second part of the intervention tool, a unit for providing actual image configured to provide an actual image of the intervention tool. The actual image is provided during the intervention procedure, a unit for determining the relative position in the space between the positions of the second part outside the subject and the first part within the subject based on the actual image and the position of the second part, and a unit for determining position unit of the first part in the provided image data set depending on the position of the second part and relative position in the space between the first part and the second part. The intervention system contains an intervention tool and a device for position determination. Data medium contains a computer program for determining position.
EFFECT: reduction of the radiation dose if X-radiation is used to obtain the actual image.
