SUBSTANCE: reduction of NOx emissions is ensured by the late injection of fuel and the combination of the phase of the maximum combustion rate with the moment of reaching the maximum rate of heat removal or internal energy of the gases. The problem is solved by adjusting the angle of the injection beginning, which in combination with the cyclic fuel supply provides the beginning of combustion during the working stroke of the piston, and the maximum rate of heat release is achieved in phase 22-25° turning the crankshaft to the top dead center corresponding to the position of the maximum of the relative rate of increase in the volume of the cylinder. At the same time, the reduction in the maximum pressure of gases in the cylinder is compensated for by an increase in the compression ratio of the engine, and the reduction in the duration of combustion is ensured by one basic or reusable intensive injection.
EFFECT: maximum reduction of specific NOx emissions at a given fuel consumption.
