SUBSTANCE: multi-cathode distributed X-ray apparatus with cathode control includes: vacuum box with a sealed perimeter and high vacuum inside; a plurality of cathodes independent of each other and arranged and fixed at one end in the vacuum box; a plurality of focal current limiters arranged in correspondence one to one to the cathodes and fixed at a position near the cathodes in the vacuum box, moreover the focal current limiters are connected to each other; an anode made of metal and fixed at the other end inside the vacuum box in parallel to the current focal limiters in the length direction and forming a predetermined inner angle with the current focal limiters in the width direction; a feeding and control system having a cathode power supply, a focal current limiter power supply connected to the focal current limiter, an anode high voltage power supply, and a control device; a high voltage connector for connecting the anode to the cable of the anode high voltage power supply, fixed at a lateral side of one end of the vacuum box near the anode; a plurality of cathode power connectors in order to connect the cathode to the cathode power supply fixed at a lateral side of one end of the vacuum box near the cathode.
