FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes an orthodontic system for treatment of a patient and a method for treatment, relates to the field of dentistry, in particular orthodontics, and is designed to stimulate the patient's muscles in order to ensure a proper bite of the teeth. Orthodontic system for patient treatment comprises a set of orthodontic devices, comprising the first and the second orthodontic device. The first orthodontic device comprises a body mounted over the maxillary dental arch and having an inner wall located on the lingual side of the maxillary dental arch, an outer wall located on the buccal side of the patient's maxillary arch, and a bridge connecting the inner and outer walls. Both walls, inner and outer, have an upper part that extends above the bridge, limiting the canal enclosing the maxillary dental arch, and the lower part below the bridge, limiting the canal enclosing the mandibular dental arch. In the upper part of the inner wall a hole is formed under the tongue, intended for the conscious placement of the patient's tongue tip in it. The upper part of the inner wall is designed so that when the tip of the patient's tongue is placed in the hole, it is adjacent to the front palate. The second orthodontic device comprises a body mounted over the maxillary dental arch and having an inner wall located on the lingual side of the maxillary dental arch, an outer wall located on the buccal side of the patient's maxillary arch, and a bridge connecting the inner and outer walls. The hole for the tongue of the second orthodontic device is larger than the hole for the tongue of the first orthodontic device. The treatment method is implemented by the device.
EFFECT: ability to adopt the correct tongue position in the treatment process.
