FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method includes directing a laser beam to the surface of a film sensing element having the property of separating the charge carriers on the surface at local heating. The measurements are made using the first and second pairs of electrodes connected to the sensing element. In order to determine the laser radiation power, a constant component of the potential difference between the irradiated and non-irradiated regions of the sensing element is measured. In order to determine the laser radiation frequency, an alternating component of the potential difference between the irradiated and non-irradiated regions of the sensing element is measured.

EFFECT: expanded spectral range and simplified measurement method.
